Effective November 1, 2026 · StillInCourt, operated by StillInCourt LLC, Gainesville, GA · StillInCourt.com
Who this covers
(a) people who visit StillInCourt.com; (b) law firms and attorneys who use StillInCourt (“Firms”); and (c) people who call a Firm and receive a text from that Firm’s number (“Callers”).
1. What we collect
- Website visitors: if you use the contact form, your message is created in your own email app and sent only when you press send. We don’t run advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) and collect basic, aggregate traffic statistics for security and reliability.
- Callers: your phone number, the time of your missed call, the text messages you send and receive, the answers you give to intake questions (for example your name, matter type, other parties, court and deadline), and your opt-in or opt-out record.
- Firms: business contact and billing details, and the information carriers require to register business texting (legal name, EIN, business address, website).
2. How we use it
- To send the text and intake questions to a Caller on behalf of the Firm they called, and to give the Firm a summary and alerts.
- To honor STOP requests, keep consent and message logs, and meet carrier and legal requirements.
- To keep the service secure and working, and to respond to messages sent to us.
We don’t use Caller information for our own marketing, and we don’t use Firm or Caller data to train AI models.
3. Who sees it
The Firm the Caller contacted can see that Caller’s messages and intake answers. Our service providers (for example, text-message delivery, hosting and email providers) process data only to provide the service for us. We may disclose information if the law requires it. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share mobile numbers or opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing.
4. Text messages
Callers receive texts only because they called a Firm first; see the SMS Terms. Reply STOP at any time to stop, or HELP for help.
5. Not legal advice, and no attorney-client relationship
Messages are sent by an automated assistant. They are not legal advice, and texting a Firm does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship. A Firm decides whether to take a matter.
6. Security and retention
We use reasonable safeguards, including encryption in transit, access controls and per-firm separation of data. No system is perfectly secure. Each Firm decides how long its records are kept, within the limits of the Firm agreement; we delete or return Firm data when a Firm ends service, on request.
7. Your choices
Callers can reply STOP to stop texts. To ask what we hold about you, or to ask for deletion, contact the Firm you called or contact us below, and we’ll route the request. Our services are for adults and not directed to children under 13.
8. Changes and contact
We’ll post updates here with a new effective date.
