Terms of Service and SMS Terms
Effective November 1, 2026 · StillInCourt, operated by StillInCourt LLC, Gainesville, GA · StillInCourt.com
SMS program in one paragraph. When you call a law firm that uses StillInCourt and the call isn’t answered, you may get a text from that firm’s number asking a few questions so an attorney can call you back. Message frequency varies, usually a handful of messages per missed call. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. We do not share mobile opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for marketing.
SMS Terms (for people who call a firm)
- Program: automated missed-call replies and intake questions sent on behalf of the law firm you called.
- How you opt in: you call the firm’s phone number yourself. We text only the number that called, in response to that call. We don’t send marketing, drip campaigns or messages to people who didn’t call. By continuing the text conversation you agree to receive these messages. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or of legal services.
- Message frequency: varies; typically a few messages after each missed call, plus replies to messages you send.
- Cost: message and data rates may apply, according to your mobile plan.
- Opt out: reply STOP (or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT) at any time. You’ll get one confirmation and no further texts from that number.
- Help: reply HELP, or contact Kenny Peach at (470) 354-6032 or support@stillincourt.com.
- Privacy: see our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share mobile opt-in data or phone numbers with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
- Delivery: carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Texts can’t reach landlines or most jail phones.
- Not legal advice: these are automated messages from an assistant, not a lawyer. They aren’t legal advice, and texting doesn’t by itself create an attorney-client relationship. For an emergency, call 911. Please don’t text details about what happened.
Terms for law firms
- The service: StillInCourt sends automated missed-call text-backs and short intake questions from your firm’s number, and delivers summaries and alerts to you. It is a software and messaging tool, not a law firm, and not a substitute for your professional judgment or supervision.
- Your responsibilities: you are responsible for your firm’s compliance with the rules of professional conduct, advertising and solicitation rules, and texting laws, and for reviewing the message scripts before use. You must own or be authorized to use each phone number, and you agree to use the service only to reply to people who contacted your firm first.
- Carrier registration: business texting requires carrier registration in your firm’s name. We prepare and submit it as part of setup. Carriers decide approval and timing, and approval is not guaranteed.
- Plans and fees: plans are billed monthly, month-to-month, plus a one-time setup fee. Current prices and limits are on the pricing section. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid month.
- Features not yet available: features labeled “coming soon” are planned, not promised, and not part of any plan until released.
- Unlimited leads: every plan includes unlimited leads, subject to reasonable use and carrier limits.
- Limits: the service is provided “as is,” without a guarantee of uptime, message delivery, or any number of leads or clients. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the prior 12 months, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
- Data: your data stays yours. See the Privacy Policy.
- Governing law: Georgia law applies. We may update these terms and will post the new effective date.
